Shatta Wale calls for action against Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah (Video)

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale is calling for action against Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, the founder of Believers Worship Center.

Shatta Wale’s call comes after Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah made shocking claims about his own image replacing that of Jesus Christ in the future.

On his official page, Shatta Wale shared a video of the prophet and wrote, “Them for lash this man.”

In the video, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah is heard saying that, in the next 500 years, his face will replace the widely recognized image of Jesus Christ.

“Listen to me, for the next 500 years, the images of Jesus you see on calendars and in pictures around. I have been instructed to replace it with my face,” he said.

Shatta Wale’s criticism adds to the backlash from other public figures. Notably, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa, also known as Opambour, has condemned the prophet’s remarks.

Opambour questioned the prophet’s sanity, stating, “A person who urinates, brushes his teeth, and bathes to purify himself wants to equate his image with Jesus Christ? No sane person would make such a claim and still call himself a servant of God. How can someone say they will use their face to represent God? Isn’t that madness?”

Opambour also dismissed the prophet’s statements as “talk of freemasonry,” calling it nonsensical. “I do not want to entertain this absurdity. Let no one deceive themselves; this is not the work of God. Replacing your image with Jesus’ in 500 years? That’s nonsense.”

The Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) has also weighed in on the issue, advising Christians to be cautious of false prophets and misleading teachings.

The council has urged Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah to focus on his own spiritual journey rather than making such outrageous claims.
