Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy is facing backlash after a video of him singing and dancing on the streets of Paris went viral.
The video, posted on his official TikTok, shows the BHIM Nation boss happily grooving to his hit song Betta Tin, rocking a vibrant outfit to match his energy.
Stonebwoy, known for his high-fashion style and love for music, was in Paris for the 2025 Paris Fashion Week, an event that attracts top international musicians and celebrities.
Stonebwoy was among the many high-profile artists attending the event, including Nigerian stars Omah Lay and 1da Banton. The Menswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 showroom session was being held at the Palais de Tokyo from January 22 to January 26, 2025.
The event also featured the Bianca Saunders Presentation and Digital Fashion Show, where Stonebwoy was seen mingling with US-born Ghanaian rapper Vic Mensa and Puerto Rican pop star Ozuna.
But before stepping into the fashion spotlight, Stonebwoy decided to show his excitement in true dancehall style.
As he walked down the Paris streets, he sang and danced, promoting his track Betta Tin from his latest album Up and Runnin6. While he was all smiles, some fans couldn’t hold back their thoughts.
The comment section quickly turned into a mini debate, with some fans saying things like, “Stonebwoy, travel with purpose!” and “Learn from Shatta Wale”
One fan even jokingly called him a “travel and tour artiste” as if he was just there for the show, not the serious work of fashion week.
