He is best known for playing “Nikolas Cassadine” and “Connor Bishop” on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital.

Tyler Christopher was born in Joliet, Illinois on November 11, 1972, to Jim and Jimi-Ann Baker and grew up in Delaware, Ohio, the youngest of four children.

Although he was interested in extracurricular activities as a child, acting was not one of his early interests.
During most of his school life, he played sports and wanted to make a career in the same field. Over time, his interests shifted.

He joined Days of Our Lives in 2017 as Stefan DiMera, the son of two notorious villains.

He continued, “Tyler was a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting. Tyler was a sweet soul and wonderful friend to all of those who knew him.”
Benard noted that “Tyler was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment who openly spoke about his struggles with bipolar depression and alcohol.”
