Popular Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar was recently in the news after she announced the birth of her baby boy. The actress revealed that her child was born on Friday, April 3, 2020.
The actress shared a photo of a baby holding someone’s thumb to announce the birth of her child.

Social media users assumed that the photo on her announcement was that of her child and they congratulated her.
However, an American woman identified on her Instagram handle as the_arielb has now called the actress out for using her photo.
It was gathered that the photo the actress used to announce her child’s arrival was for the_arielb.

@the_arielb shared photos of her baby on Instagram which are similar to that of the photo Abubakar used in announcing the arrival of her baby.
Ariel went on to share screenshots of conversations between herself and Abubakar where she appealed to the actress to take down the photo of her baby from her Instagram page.

As at the time of publishing this article, Abubakar is yet to take down or react to the accusation levelled against her by the American.
