Anderson Cooper is an American broadcast journalist and political commentator currently anchoring the CNN news broadcast show Anderson Cooper 360. In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS News.

Cooper has two kids with his friend and former partner Benjamin Maisani. The two dated from 2014 to 2014. “Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago.

Cooper welcomed a son via surrogate in April 2020. His son is named Wyatt Morgan Cooper who was named after Anchor’s father who died when he was 10. “I hope I can be as good a dad as he was,” Cooper said on Instagram. “As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way.”

In February 2022, he welcomed his second son Sebastian Luke Cooper. Maisani previously announced that he would be adopting and co-parenting Wyatt and he also co-parents Sebastian. He celebrated Father’s Day in 2022 after a hard reflection on the holiday.
