Nhyira Marfo Okyere, one of the lead singers of the popular Ghanaian gospel group Team Eternity, has reportedly passed away.
The news of her death, which occurred around midnight on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, was first shared by blogger Zhikay Ikejunior on Facebook.
While the exact cause of Nhyira’s death has not been revealed, the news has left fans and fellow musicians in deep sorrow.

Her last public appearance was on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at a gospel event, which has now become her final performance.
Nhyira’s moving performances and sincere worship touched the lives of many, making her sudden passing even more heartbreaking for those who admired her work.
This loss is particularly difficult for Team Eternity, coming just over a year after the group faced another tragedy.
Kevin Adiamah, another valued member of the group, passed away on June 14, 2023, due to health issues, as reported by Ghana Music.
Currently, there has been no official statement from Nhyira’s family or the remaining members of Team Eternity.
