The family of Nhyira Okyere Marfo, a valued member of Team Eternity Ghana, has recently addressed the details of her passing.
The gospel community and her fans were shaken by the news of her death on August 7, and a multitude of speculative reports concerning the events leading to her demise have since emerged.
A Ghanaian content creator who witnessed what has become the late Nhyira Okyere’s final performance attempted to unravel the mystery surrounding the singer’s death.

Nhyira’s family has condemned the influencer’s disturbing and unpopular account of Nhyira’s demise, which suggested a poisoning incident.
The family’s statement reads:
“We are deeply distressed by the spread of these false rumours and the harm they are causing to our family and loved ones. We appeal to everyone to be responsible and respectful in their communication.”
The statement continues:
“We have become aware of certain speculations circulating on social media regarding the cause of Nhyira’s death, including claims of poisoning and other unsubstantiated rumours. We wish to categorically state that these claims are completely untrue and unfounded.”

Eric Agyei Mante, the head of the family, emphasized that the official cause of Nhyira Okyere Marfo’s death has not yet been determined.
He urged the public to stop disseminating false information and to await verified updates from the family and Team Eternity.
