Brighton police confirmed that Dustin failed to stop at a traffic light and crashed into another vehicle at high speed. He was rushed to the nearby medical facility but the doctors couldn’t save him.

Dustin Rich was a 24-year-old man from Batavia, Kane County, Illinois. He has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in the Brighton crash on Monday.
The young man was riding his motorbike when it crashed into another vehicle carrying four people.
Born in 1999, Dustin was a kind and generous man who lived in Batavia. He was the son of Nate Rich.
The father and son duo loved motorcycles and were often seen riding them. Unfortunately, the thing Dustin admired the most became the reason behind his death.

A motorcyclist named Dustin Rich has been identified as the person killed in the two-vehicle accident that took place on Monday, May 01, 2023, on East River Road, Brighton.
According to the police, the young man didn’t stop at a traffic light and struck a sport utility vehicle.
The SUV carrying four people was exiting the off-ramp of Interstate 390 when it crashed into Dustin’s motorcycle.
The tragic crash happened at around 9:30 PM as per the report from David Catholdi, Brighton Police Chief.
Rich was rushed to the nearby hospital. However, he was declared dead. His family has been informed.

What happened to the people in the SUV in Brighton Crash?
The four people traveling in the SUV involved in the Brighton crash included two children, aged 6 and 7.
They suffered minor injuries in the crash and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening and they’ll be released soon. No charges have been filed yet.
The intersection where the crash happened is just south of the highway, near Genesee Valley Park.
