Ghanaian gospel singer Diana Asamoah has expressed her frustrations over the disturbing trend of church leaders taking advantage of their congregation.
Her comments come after Prophet Ogyaba publicly admitted to having an affair with a lady named Cassie, who claims he impregnated and mistreated her.
Despite acknowledging the affair, Ogyaba, who is married to Abigail Boakye, denied the other allegations, arguing that Cassie’s intent was to ruin his reputation.
Diana Asamoah, known for her bold and often controversial opinions, did not hold back during a recent broadcast on Angel TV.
She described Ogyaba as a “callous womanizer” and a “petty thief,” criticizing him for neglecting his wife and using church funds to fuel his inappropriate lifestyle.
According to her, such behavior is not only disgraceful but also a betrayal of the trust placed in spiritual leaders.
The Mabo Wo Din hitmaker also highlighted a troubling pattern among some young pastors, particularly from the Ashanti Region, who enter ministry with little more than persuasive speech.
She accused them of using their positions to manipulate vulnerable members, often silencing victims by invoking fear of divine punishment.
Diana further criticized these leaders for masking their misconduct with large donations at church programs, creating a false image of piety.
In her fiery address, Diana warned such pastors to treat their wives with respect, stating, “If you’re a pastor and your wife supports you with good intentions, don’t belittle her, else God will strike you with spiritual hernia.”
