On April 19, 2023, Moon bin was found dead in his apartment in the Gangnam-gu district of Seoul.
His passing was confirmed by his manager, as well as his label, on Wednesday evening via Instagram.
“On April 19th, Astro member Moon bin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky,” the statement read.
It added: “My heart hurts, even more, to deliver this sudden news to the fans who have supported Moon bin and sent generous love.
“I am more heartbroken because I know the heart of the deceased who always loved and thought of his fans more than anyone else.”
Moonbin’s cause of death has yet to be revealed.
