A family and community are rallying together Friday to search for Tyler Doyle who went missing after a boating distress call Thursday night.
On Thursday evening, Tyler Doyle and his small john boat were reported missing in the Little River area.

Identified by family and friends on social media posts, he was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and khaki pants before he embarked into the area for duck hunting.
Crews continue to search on Friday and many family and friends have expressed their tribute and prayers for Tyler’s safe return home.

On her Facebook post, his wife Lakelyn expressed her strong belief that Tyler is still out there. Though an official has not been found yet, Lakelyn remains hopeful that she will soon be reunited with her husband.
“Oh tyler. My love. My bestfriend. My everything. PLEASE just come home. I miss you so much. My heart is shattered. Tyler is strong. Tyler is smart. He’s out there I know he is. PLEASE PRAY SO HARD. Paisley grace needs you”.

The Doyles, a family from Loris who recently announced their new baby on social media, have been the center of a search and rescue operation since Thursday evening. Tyler Doyle is listed on his Facebook account as working for Carolina Kitchens, a local refrigeration service near Loris.
Horry County Fire Rescue and North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue are both involved with helping U.S. Coast Guard to search for the missing family members. One person was rescued earlier this evening from the north jetties between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway, however there is no information yet regarding their condition.
