In a video making rounds on social media, one fraudster was making use of a new procedure of stealing from their oblivious victims.The fraudster called the almost-a-victim and explained that he was calling from the Osu branch of MTN to inform him that he had won a prize from MTN which is the usual trick most people are aware of.
He however added that the victim needs to send some money to an account for him to get the prize. He took the victim through some procedures in transferring money into an unknown account.

Where we want readers to be aware of is, he mentioned some codes and numbers used in that procedure, and the whole act looked attractive to the extent that a greedy person would have easily fallen for it.
The victim was a smart individual and knew the whole act from the beginning but pretended in order to get a chance to video to inform others. After the fraudster realised he has been caught he rained insults in responds to that of the victim.
