The President of DR Congo Felix Tshisekedi has invited mining giants, Engineers & Planners to begin commercial mining of bauxite in his country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners Ibrahim Mahama met with President Tshisekedi on Saturday, July 27 in Abuja.

Following a meeting between the two, the DR Congo President also invited the company to help build the capacity of the power sector in his country.
President Tshisekedi further lauded Ibrahim Mahama for his great efforts when it comes to mining on the continent.
On his part, Mr. Mahama accepted the invitation and promised to give up the best with regards to the bauxite and power sectors of the Central African country.

The Ghanaian business mogul said, as he’s already done in Ghana and other African countries, he will do his best to replicate his successes in DR Congo.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Mahama, who is the brother of former Ghana President John Dramani Mahama, earlier honoured the special invitation from the founder of United Bank of Africa (UBA), Tony Elumelu.
The Engineers and Planners CEO was as a special guest at the 2019 Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship forum which began on Friday, July 26.
The forum lasted for two days from July 27 to 28 in Abuja, Nigeria.
