Ghanaians have mourned the passing of Nana Yaw Opoku well known as Junior US ever since the news of her death hit the internet. Atinkanews.net earlier reported that he was murdered in his apartment by two unknown men.
On May 25th 2019, his body was viewed by friends and family who reside in the United States. Present at the ceremony held in church was the baby mama of Junior US, known as Lynn and their son.

On Saturday , April 1, the deceased was finally laid to rest, as friends and family came to pay their last respect. It was indeed a sad moment for everyone. Junior died at the age of 33.
Junior US was first laid in State at Krofrom in the morning for loved ones to file pass his remains.
He was later transported to Antoa Abirem where his parents are from to be buried. The funeral service was again held at Krofrom where thousand of youth turned up to honor him.
