A third suspect connected to the murder of 38-year-old Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah has reportedly passed away after a brief illness.

CitiNewsroom.com reported that the deceased’s brother, Kwasi Amoako, confirmed the news. He mentioned that he was informed of the suspect’s death by a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officer handling the case.

“Yesterday we went to court, and I can confirm that the third suspect has passed on. I was told by the Police CID, the one who is in charge of the case. We thank God that our brother has started seeking justice for himself,” Amoako said.

It’s long been reported that Stephen King Amoah, who’s currently serving as an officer with the Ghana Immigration Service, went missing on July 4, 2025.

His partially burnt body was later discovered in a gutter at Abuom Junction.
