Ghanaian actress Selly Galley Fiawoo recently touched hearts as she shared her deeply emotional journey to motherhood at a special event celebrating her twins.
On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Selly and her husband, Praye Tietia, held a joyous ceremony to introduce their twins to the world, marking a year since their birth.
In a heartfelt address at the star-studded event, Selly Galley opened up about the challenges she and Praye Tietia faced during their long wait to become parents.

She revealed how their nine-year struggle to start a family was marked by tears and trials. “Last year, I cried a lot, but it’s all to the glory of God,” Selly shared, her voice filled with emotion.
The actress candidly spoke about the harsh reality of being mocked on social media during their journey.
“I was mocked on social media several times; the comments were hard to ignore,” she said, reflecting on the difficult period when they were subjected to public scrutiny and ridicule. Despite the negativity, Selly and Praye remained steadfast in their faith and hope.
Selly Galley also recounted the pain of experiencing a miscarriage during their journey. “I did get pregnant along the way, but God said it wasn’t the right time,” she explained.
Despite the heartache, the couple’s faith remained unshaken. “We cried, but God assured us that something greater was ahead,” Selly added.
