Classes at Central Maine Community College and schools in the Lewiston Public Schools district will be canceled for October 26 in response to the shooting.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are assisting local authorities.

Card’s Facebook page described him as living in Bowdoin, Maine, and public records gave him as 40.
