Biography of Jaylen Brown
In October 1996, He was born in Marietta, Georgia. He played at Wheeler High School, where he was Mr. Georgia Basketball, a first-team Parade All-American, and a McDonald’s All-American in 2015.
He is a 6’7″ small forward and shooting guard. Brown played collegiate basketball for California, where in 2016 he was named to the first team of the Pac-12 and named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. In the 2016 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics selected him with the third overall pick. In 2017, he was chosen for the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
He also represented the United States and took home a gold medal at the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship. In the 2019–20 season, he agreed to a $115 million deal with the Celtics that will last until the 2023–24 campaign. He is A.J. Bouye’s cousin in the NFL.
