Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway and Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, known as Diamond and Silk, are formally broken.
Diamond’s death was announced via their social media account on Monday, January 9. Donald Trump rushed to pay tribute to the late political activist whom he adored.

Lynnette Hardaway, better known as Diamond, was admitted to the hospital back in November 2022 due to COVID. However, the reason for her death was not explained. Lynnette died at 52.
Donald Trump remembered Diamond. He wrote, “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina.
Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest in Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed.”

The official Twitter account of Diamond and Silk posted, “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family! Memorial Ceremony TBA.”

How did Diamond of Diamond and Silk die?
The cause of her death is unknown and was not clarified. However, she was hospitalized back in November 2022 due to COVID. Her sister Rochelle Richardson, aka Silk, took to Twitter to request prayers for her sister.
She wrote, “Anyone who believes in the power of prayer please pray for Diamond.” It was unclear when and if Diamond got out of the hospital.
However, as per Trump’s report, who was close to the duo, writes that her death was unexpected hinting that she was out of the hospital and doing well. When Diamond was battling COVID, the duo was heavily trolled for taking the ‘anti’ stance on the deadly disease.
