Actress Bontle Modiselle shares words of comfort with Riky Rick’s wife
Actress Bontle Modiselle has taken to her Instagram account to pen words of comfort for Bianca Naidoo, the wife of the late rapper Riky Rick’s.
Rapper Rikhado “Riky Rick” Makhado, died on Wednesday. His death came as a shock to South Africans and his fans outside of the country.
The Makhado family confirmed his death happened in the early hours of 23 February.

“Son, husband, father, brother and uncle, R¡ky ‘Ricky’ Makhado (34) sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning (23rd February) in Johannesburg,” the statement reads.
“Affectionately known as Riky Rick across the globe, he was deeply loved by his family, friends and the entire entertainment industry. His love for family, friends and community is well known. Riky’s nurturing and developing of young musical talent is well documented and will forever be remembered.”
He leaves behind his wife, two children, his mother and five siblings. “The Makhado family humbly request privacy as they go through this extremely difficult period of grieving. The family has not appointed a spokesperson at this point, and they ask that you please keep them in your prayers.
“The family are also deeply thankful for and appreciates the countless messages of love and support received, These are felt deeply. Details of the funeral and memorial will be confirmed at a later stage. With much love and thanks, the Makhado family…”

In the wake of the rapper’s untimely death, Bonnie expressed her deep and profound sadness. She said she wished it was just a dream and prayed for healing within her heart
“I’m so sorry Bianca, for everything. I’m so sorry for your children, your family. I wish this wasn’t your reality. The thought of what you’re left to face is unbearable. I wish it was different. No words can be enough. May you be wrapped in our prayers for you. God, may your presence be felt now more than ever. Ho bohloko empa holokile,” she said.
Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado was born and bred in KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal. He was a force to be reckoned with in the industry. He was also founder and owner of Cotton Club Records and Makhado Makhado Agency.
Throughout his music career, the rapper released hits songs including Amantombazane, Boss Zonke and Sidlukotini. As a mentor, he helped the younger generation of artists navigate the music industry and he made sure they reached their full potential.
His passing has has sparked an ongoing conversation on mental health where social media users encourages men to speak up about their struggles with depression and mental health. They are also calling on everyone to be kind with each other.
