Actress, Salma Mumin has landed herself in trouble with telecommunication giants, MTN threatening to sue her over ‘false claims’.
Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana has given actress Salma Mumin a 24-hour ultimatum to apologize over an Instagram post.
The actress took to her verified Instagram page to allege that staff of MTN Ghana had stolen her GHC10,000 from her merchant mobile money account.

But after investigation by MTN, they have revealed that she fabricated the story and are demanding an unqualified apology for tarnishing their brand.
The post added that “as @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo merchant wallet and no money had been taken from her MoMo merchant wallet as claimed”.
The company has asked Salma to apologize for her blatant lie in the next 24 hours or get sued(face legal action).

It said in its statement that “the apology must state clearly that her claims that MTN Ghana had taken money from her wallet was false and given the same prominence as that of her initial post failing which the business will be compelled to take legal action against her.”
