Singer Stephanie Benson’s birthday message to Sister Derby has caused a stir on social media.
Singer, actress and model, Deborah Vanessah, popularly known as Sister Derby turned 36 on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Stephanie Benson took to her social media pages to celebrate her but her message has been termed controversial by some.
“Happy Birthday. Absolutely Breathtaking. It takes a Real Man to Nurture the Beauty of you. Those men are hard to find. They usually settle for the weak and easy. YOU WILL NEVER BE THAT. A TRUE LEO LADY you are. Happy Birthday darling.”, she wrote.
Some believe Stephanie Benson’s message is a direct jab at the model’s ex-boyfriend, Medikal.
Before marrying Fella Makafui in 2020, Medikal had dated Sister Derby for two years and the cause of their breakup is still not known.

Her post caught the eye of a Twitter user who wrote, “Aunty Steph is throwing punches” but she replied “oh me??? To whom???”.
Stephanie believes that social media users are overreacting to her harmless birthday message.
