AtinkaNews has gathered that a doctor who works at the Ledzekuku Municipal Hospital (LEKMA Hospital) has tested positive for COVID-19.
The doctor is reportedly the first frontline medical staff known publicly to have contracted the disease.

Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency, Bernard Oko-Boye made this revelation.
The medical doctor’s case is among 152 cases of coronavirus recorded in Ghana.
Ghana Health Service is yet to reveal the identity of the doctor who works with LEKMA hospital in Teshie.
The member of Parliament also announced that the LEKMA hospital will be shut down for disinfection on Tuesday, March 31.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the doctor operated on a pregnant woman, before testing for the virus.
The doctor also reportedly attended to several pregnant women.
Ghana has recorded five deaths out of 152 cases recorded as at March 29, 2020.
On March 30, no new case of coronavirus was recorded in Ghana.
