Ghanaian actor, entrepreneur and politician John Dumelo visits areas affected by flood in his neighborhood and promises to make a change when he is voted into power. This was after a heavy rainfall in West Legon.
John Dumelo is currently the elected candidate for Ayawaso West Constituency for the NDC party. It’s a very common attribute of incoming political leaders to make all sort of promises to the people but turn deaf ears once elected into power.
He claims he’ll be different from the other past MP’s if he is voted as an MP however some of his followers commented saying he was just doing that for votes and there is no way he’ll fulfill his promise.
In his own words, he said “I toured areas affected by the heavy rainfall yesterday in West Legon this dawn. Many lives and properties were affected by the flooding and as an aspiring Member of Parliament, I will ensure that measures are put in place to stop this from reoccurring. No more promises. idey4u”
