Women in sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region and its environs on Sunday held a grand vigil for the three missing young ladies that were reported kidnapped last year.
The mammoth vigil was also to highlight what they say is the wave of kidnappings that has hit the twin city.
On Sunday, February 3, 2019 mothers and women in the Western Regional capital stayed awake all night to hold a vigil for the missing girls.

Holding their candles and lights, the women lined up to drum home their concern about the yet-to-be-found teenagers.
“We’ve all gone back to sleep after Ayawaso shame. But tonight, a very worrying national issue is keeping women in the Western Region sleepless,” Atinka FM journalist Saddick Adams, wrote on his Facebook page.
“All the mothers in Takoradi are staying awake tonight. They’re holding vigil for the three kidnapped girls. Police have no clue, still. Let’s remember them,” he added.
