The mother of Hiplife artiste, Castro , known in his private life as Theophilus Tagoe, is living in very poor and miserable conditions, Maurice Ampaw has claimed.
According to Ampaw, Castro’s mother is so poor she is even finding it difficult to feed herself.
In an interview on Accra-based Onua FM, Ampaw stated: “I can tell you she doesn’t have money for food.”

Castro went missing at Ada on 6 July 6 2014 while on a weekend getaway with former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan.
Castro and a female friend, Janet Bandu, were said to have taken a ski boat out on a cruise on the Volta River but did not return.
Many blamed Gyan for Castro’s disappearance and lawyer Ampaw happened to be one of the people who wanted Gyan and those who travelled with Castro to answer some questions.

Speaking on the matter recently, Ampaw blamed Castor’s friends for neglecting his mother saying:
For six years none of the people who went with Castro have made any attempt to visit Castro’s mum to give her some money.
He said he realised the woman’s condition after he visited her recently to give her some money.
“We have deserted Castro, Janet Bandu, and the entire family,” he lamented.
