A Nigerian lady has gone against the societal norm of claiming to be either a Christian or a Muslim to publicly celebrate the river goddess, Mammy water, on her social media page.
Known simply as Chinemerem Obieze, the lady who claimed to be an Ogbanje (“children who come and go”.) is annoyed with the way people renounce mammy water because of their faith but are quick to run to the goddess for water to drink and use in their daily activities.
