Billy Miller, who was best-known for starring in the likes of General Hospital, All My Children and Suits, has died.
Miller died at the age of 43 on Friday in Austin, Texas according to a statement from his manager .

Billy Miller is an American actor and businessman. Sweet and likeable, Miller is best known for his role as Billy Abbott on the hit soap opera, The Young and the Restless.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 17, 1979, he first started to act while attending the University of Texas.
Actually, once he received his Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Communications he moved to LA where he landed a job in the mail room of Industry Entertainment in Los Angeles, California.
Then, he began working as an amateur model and landed appearances in major corporation commercials such as JCPenney and Pizza Hut. He has also appeared on CSI: NY and All My Children.
However, it was his performance in The Young and the Restless that fetched him awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series via the Emmys in 2010 and again in 2013, as well as one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2014.
Billy Miller cause of death
Billy Miller died Friday in Austin, Texas, his manager, Marnie Sparer, confirmed to the Los Angeles Times.
He was “struggling with manic depression when he died,” according to a news release provided to The Times.
No official cause of death was given.
Miller is survived by his mother Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew Grayson and niece Charley.
His team asks that donations be made in his honor to the Texas Scottish Rite for Children Hospital.

Actress Octavia Spencer, who co-starred alongside Billy in TV series Truth Be Told, shared a tribute to the actor on Instagram.
‘I am speechless. I’m laying here scrolling through IG and came across a post that we lost Billy Miller. To his family, legions of fans, and our #TruthBeTold family my deepest condolences,’ she wrote underneath a photo of the actor.
‘I am so sad to learn of Miller passing. I loved watching him on all my children young and the restless and general hospital. May he rest in peace,’ another person wrote on Twitter.
‘A real loss to the genre, just so sad,’ yet another fan added.
