The 2019 edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant is currently underway after auditions came to a close on Sunday, August 5.
These beautiful ladies selected will be representing all the regions in Ghana and will be competing for the coveted title, cash and car.

1. Ahafo Region: Shiela Ama Serwaa
The 22-year-old Sheila Ama Serwaa will represent the Ashanti Region. The graduate nurse speaks Twi and English. She will be using Serwaa as her stage name.
2.Volta Region : Anita Mawuenya, Bossoh
Anita Mawuenya Bossoh, the 27-year-old will represent the Volta Region with the stage name, Enam. She is a university graduate who loves to read, cook and dance.
Enam is fluent in English, Ewe, Fante, Dangbe and Ga.
3.Oti Region : Barbara Akuffo Asante
Barbara Akuffo Asante is a 29-year-old fashion designer from Jasikan in the newly created Oti region. She will mount the GMB stage with the name Nana.
Nana loves to draw and paint. She speaks Twi, Guan, Ewe and English.
4 Savannah Region : Mariam Musah
Representing this new region is 23-year-old Mariam Musah who hopes to win the competition to become the first person to win the crown for the region. She will use Kasha as her stage name.
Kasha speaks Wala Gonja, Twi and English, and loves to engage in sporting activities.
5.Eastern Region :Jessica Boateng
Jessica Boateng, the 20-year-old will represent the Eastern Region with the stage name Oye.
She loves to cook and swim, and is fluent in Asante Twi and English.
6.Central Region :Ekua Meds Bannerman
23-year-old entrepreneur, Ekua Meds Bannerman, will represent the Central Region. She will use Ekua as her stage name.
She speaks English and Twi, and she loves to sing and dance.
7.Greater Accra Region : Naa Okine Otobia
Otobia will represent the Greater Accra Region in this year’s GMB. she loves to sing and dance and speaks Ga and English.
8.Upper East Region : Ayishetu Mohammed
This 26-year old teacher, Ayishetu Mohammed, will represent the Upper East Region. She loves to sing, dance and act.
9.Upper West Region : Tzilla Edith
Her name is Tzilla Edith, born in Bussie in the Upper West Region of Ghana. She stands 5.1FT tall and loves to sing and act.
10.North East Region : Freda Laarmong
Freda Laarmong, 26 years old, will appear on the show with stage name Yaya..
She is an entrepreneur and speaks Bimoba, Mampruli and English. She loves to act and sing,
11. Northern Region : Zara
She is 25 years born Zahra Sulemana and she will represent Northern Region.
She speaks Dagbani, Hausa, Fanti, Twi and English.
12.Bono East Region- Pena
Jemima Dede is a 23-year old. She will be the first to represent the newly created Bono East under the stage name Pena. She speaks Twi, Bono and Asante Twi.
Pena loves to sing and act.
13.Western Region – Esi
The 21-year-old Erika Esi Hooper will be representing the Western region.
She speaks Fante and English, and loves to dance and do spoken word.
14. Western North – Saah
Saah will represent the newly created Western North. She loves to sing and dance.
15. Ahafo Region – Afia
Nana Afia Prempeh is a Health Officer representing the Ahafo region. She loves to dance and sing.
With stage name Afia, she speaks Asante Twi, Bono Twi and English
16.Deborah Akuffo, Bono Region.
Debora Akuffo comes on the show with stage name Obaapa to represent the people of the Bono Region.
She loves to dance and sing. Obaapa speaks Akwapem Twi, Bono and English
The 16 contestants, representing the Ahafo, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Central, Eastern, Greater Accra, Western, Western North, Northern, North East, Savanna, Volta, Oti Regions, Upper East and Upper West regions will be unveiled on Sunday, August 11 in Kumasi.
This year’s GMB is on the theme ‘Black ‘N’ Proud’.
