Church of Pentecost is the cause of all Ghana problems – Kennedy Agyapong

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has accused the Church of Pentecost of being the cause of all the problems the country is  facing currently.

Speaking in an interview monitored by AtinkaNews.net, the lawmaker noted that he strongly believes in the Orthodox churches consisting of the Roman Catholic, AME Zion, Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican and the likes but not the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches.

According to the politician, the Church of Pentecost which is noted for praying aloud and as well as in tongues is the cause of the majority of problems Ghana is facing explaining that the new and smaller churches sprung out of the Church of Pentecost.

Kennedy Agyapong stated that the Church of Pentecost is quick to sanction its members when they go contrary to their principles and they (members) tend to establish their own churches which kick start from classrooms.

Honorable Ken-Agyapong went on to give an example of his cousin who called him to ask for instruments because he plays on establishing a church.

My cousin whom I took to America called me early morning at around 5 am, saying he has established a church and wanted me to buy him some instruments and added that immediately he gets the services of three women he is done” he explained.
