FDA responds to concerns over Yaa Jackson’s body enhancement products

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has responded to concerns raised by a citizen regarding products endorsed by singer Yaa Jackson.

In the wake of Fella Makafui’s purported arrest for selling unauthorized drugs and products, public outcry has led to increased scrutiny and condemnation, particularly targeting celebrities engaged in similar practices.

Concerns have been raised regarding various products, including some buttock enlargement items purportedly promoted by singer Yaa Jackson.

A netizen’s post tagging the FDA spotlighted the issue: “Yaa Jackson has been selling these drugs always on Instagram but the authorities are quiet. Hypocrites.”

Responding to the public outcry, the FDA cautioned against purchasing such products. Furthermore, the FDA assured the public that their team will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

They expressed appreciation for individuals who bring such concerns to their attention.

“Thank you for the alert. We appreciate vigilant individuals who report such concerns. While our team investigates further, we emphasize that the FDA has not approved any product for body part enlargement. The public should refrain from purchasing this and any similar product,” their response read.

Meanwhile, the FDA also clarified its stance on regulating products making spiritual claims, particularly addressing inquiries regarding items promoting a men-charming potion known as ‘kayamata.’
