Don Little Urges Caution to King Paluta Amid Bawumia Campaign Uproar [Video]

Ghanaian actor Don Little has issued a warning to musician King Paluta after a video went viral showing him involved in Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign activities.

The video, shared on Dr Bawumia’s X account on June 12, features the Vice President, Chairman Wontumi, Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, and Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, all singing an acapella version of ‘Aseda’.

Sitting next to the Vice President on the campaign bus, King Paluta is seen delivering an acapella rendition of his hit song “Aseda.”

In the video, Dr Bawumia and his colleagues were seen happily singing along, with the Vice President excitedly throwing his hands around to the rhythm of the song.

Sarah Adwoa Safo added to the lively atmosphere with a few ecstatic dance moves, while Simon Osei-Mensah and Chairman Wontumi nodded and sang along with enthusiasm.

King Paluta was criticized for engaging in politics considering the political climate in the country at the moment.

In response to criticism, King Paluta defended his actions, asserting that he saw no issue in responding to the Bawumia’s honorary call.

However, Don Little has expressed contrasting views, believing it to be an ill-advised move for King Paluta’s emerging career in the entertainment industry.

He reminded the musician that no politician contributed to his rise to stardom, the reason he urges King Paulta to take a neutral stance in political matters.

Don Little cautioned that affiliating with political figures could lead to him being prematurely associated with a specific political party.
