Music Producer and Amapiano pioneer, DJ Sumbody, whose real name is Oupa Sefoka, has died.
DJ Sumbody died in the early hours of this morning in Johannesburg..His family says further details surrounding his death are still unclear but unconfirmed reports indicate he was shot and killed.

According to speculation circulating on social media, the musician was shot and killed while heading to play at Newscafe Woodmead last night.
His management has confirmed his passing in a statement that is circulating on social media.
The statement did not reveal his cause of death, but states that he “ran into an unfortunate accident that led to his passing in the early hours of Sunday morning 20 November 2022.
According to the statement, an investigation is currently underway following his untimely passing. The Sefoka family and Sumsounds Music Management request privacy during this difficult time.
