AKA memorial — During Kiernan ‘AKA’s memorial service held today, the only child of slain rapper Kairo Forbes has stolen the moment whilst she is showing compassion to Nadia Nakai.
Twitter is abuzz over the bravery of the young Kairo who herself is deeply hurt but managing to show love to others. The seven-year-old, whose mother is DJ Zinhle, was seen in the front row of the service, which took place at Sandton Convention Centre.

Kairo Forbes was seen sitting between her mom DJ Zinhle and her maternal grandmother. She was also surrounded by AKA’s mom Lynn Forbes and the rapper’s girlfriend, Nadia Nakai.
In one clip, the little girl was seen embracing Nadia, with whom she had a close relationship.

But in one heartwrenching clip, Kairo is seen weeping, with mom Zinhle wiping away tears from her eyes.

In another, Kairo is joined by the ladies in her life; Zinhle, Lynn, Nadia, and others, as they danced to an uplifting song by the gospel group Joyous Celebrations.

Kiernan will be laid to rest in a secluded venue where all the leaders, heroes and heroines of our society are rested, on Saturday, 18th February 2023.
