Osmanu Mumuni, 55 by age is in the custody of police for cutting off the ears of his 10-year-old son and putting his fingers in fire for taking his money unlawfully.
Mr Mumuni was triggered to have treated his son in this manner when his Gh¢250.00 was stolen by his son.
The incident which occurred at Obom-Domeabra in the Greater Accra region.

According to the Weija Divisional DOVVSU of the Ghana Police Service, they received a call on Sunday, May 17, 2020, from the mother of the child that her ex-husband Osman Mumuni whom the boy stays with, had been physically abused for the aforementioned reason.
Mumuni’s son who had marks of assault all over his body was sent to the Amanfrom Poly Clinic near Kasoa where he received intensive treatment and has been discharged by the grace of God.
The father of the boy who is in the custody of the police confessed to have indeed assaulted his son and described him as a stubborn and disobedient son.
