A family have been involved in a fatal accident on the Accra-Cape-Coast highway while journeying to New Edubiase in the Ashanti region.
According to the report, the family was moving out of Accra to the Adansi South district capital to escape the two weeks lockdown in Accra.

As earlier reported, President Nana Akufo-Addo, on Friday, March 27, 2020, announced a partial lockdown of Accra, Tema, and Kumasi and their immediate neighbourhood.
The lockdown which is to begin at 01:00 am on Monday, March 30, 2020, was part of new strategies to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus disease in Ghana.
Following the declaration of the lockdown, there have been many leaving the affected cities in order to escape from being caged for 14-days.

This family happens to be one of the people escaping the lockdown but met the unfortunate. Hmmmm, if they had known, they would have stayed in Accra to manage with the lockdown.
It is not yet known if there were any casualties in the accident but photos show it was a serious one.
