Tragedy was on Tuesday averted at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos State, as flight B737 aircraft belonging to AirPeace lost one of its front tyres.
The plane, which had a female pilot, took off from Port Harcourt, Rivers State and crashed-landed as the female pilot tried to control the situation.

However, no casualty was recorded as emergency personnel were on ground to have the situation in full control.
The development was made public by an Instagram user, ariellafitness
According to the Instagram user who was onboard the plane, there was a subsequent “bang” as the aircraft dropped from the sky to the hard ground.
Passengers were said to have been informed by the pilot that the plane had lost both tyres and that an evacuation request had been placed.

The Instagram user then lamented that emergency rescue did not arrive till 52 minutes later, and praised God for surviving the ordeal.
