“Insult me again, and I will curse you,” Prophet Opambour warns Vim Lady

Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, known as Opambour, the founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, has issued a strong warning to broadcast journalist Afia Pokua, commonly known as Vim Lady.

This warning comes after Pokua called him “shallow-minded” following his comments about a new government policy.

In a video that has gone viral, Prophet Opambour threatened to curse Afia Pokua if she insults him again.

“If I have not said anything negative about her and she chooses to insult me, I will curse her and do whatever I please with her, including her unborn children,” he said angrily in the video.

Opambour was clear about his deadline. “I give her until Sunday. If she makes another comment about me, I will curse her,” he added.

It all started after a fellowship service on November 11, 2024, in Kumasi, where former President John Dramani Mahama met with a group of clergymen.

Prophet Opambour was among those in attendance, and during the event, he raised concerns about a new government policy led by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The policy proposed using the Ghana Card to create a credit scoring system for citizens, allowing people to purchase cars.

Opambour wasn’t convinced. He questioned the feasibility of the project and mocked the idea of using the Ghana Card for something like that. However, it wasn’t long before his comments sparked a response from Afia Pokua.

Vim Lady didn’t hold back when she saw Opambour’s comments. In a scathing reply on social media, she called the Prophet “shallow-minded” for his criticism of the Ghana Card policy.

“Anybody who condemns the Ghana Card is shallow-minded,” she said. “This same identification card is what has made Europe what it is today. It shouldn’t even be a topic for discussion!”
