King Paluta breaks silence on receiving East Legon mansion and vehicle from NPP

Ghanaian musician King Paluta, also known as Thomas Adjei Wireko, has addressed rumors about receiving a mansion and vehicle from the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

The speculation gained traction after his popular song “Makoma” was frequently featured in NPP campaign events, leading to assumptions that the artist had received significant gifts in exchange.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s “Ekwansodwodwo,” King Paluta tackled these rumors head-on.

When asked about the reports of him receiving a luxurious mansion in East Legon and a high-end vehicle from the NPP, he responded with a laugh, saying, “We are looking forward to that.”

Paluta clarified that while the NPP does include his song in their campaign playlists, they are not using it exclusively for their political agenda.

“Every political party uses this song; it’s not just the NPP,” he explained. He further elaborated, “The song is out there and accessible to everyone. Even mechanics play it at their workshops.”
