Ghanaian musician Amerado, born Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, is reported to have experienced an accident during a live performance.
The rapper, who recently returned from the United States of America, was billed to perform at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School.

In a viral video sighted by AtinkaNews on social media, the stage on which Amerado was performing caved in, which caused the tragic accident.
In the said video, it was seen that most of the students were leaving the venue after the stage collapsed.
An observer at the event said Amerado suffered severe injuries from the accident and was sent to the Effia Nkwanta Government Hospital for treatment.

The talented rapper and singer recently released his new song “TinTonTin” and had several nominations at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
