Kelis in full, Kelis Rogers is an American singer-songwriter and chef. As an artist, Kelis has worked with producers like will.i.am and Pharrell Williams to produce popular tracks like “Milkshake” and “Bossy.”
During her singing career she sold over six million albums worldwide and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. Kelis left her parents’ home at the age of sixteen, and four years later she landed a deal with Virgin Records.
In the mid-1998, she had already started to record her debut album “Kaleidoscope,” which was completed and released within a year. The album spawned few sizable hits, like “Caught out There,” which enjoyed enormous popularity across Europe.

Mora’s death comes months after he first shared his diagnosis on social media. In a September 2021 post, the photographer told his Instagram followers he thought he had a stomach ulcer, before being diagnosed with cancer in 2020.
Kelis Children
She has three children in total. Her first son, whom she bore with her ex-husband Nas, is Knight Jones. He was born in July 2009.
Her second son, whom she had with her late husband Mike Mora, is Shepherd Mora. He was born in December 2015.
Her third child, and only daughter, is Galilee Mora. She was born in September 2020. Kelis loves her children and lives with them on a farm in Colombia.
