On March 30, 2019, Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside of his Los Angeles clothing store.
The shooting transpired just hours after Hussle wrote about having “strong enemies” on Twitter.
According to courtroom testimony by Hussle’s friend Herman Douglas, the crime scene took place after the rapper’s argument with his former fellow gang member Eric Holder.
By Douglas’ account, Hussle and Holder went back and forth about rumors regarding the latter’s supposed cooperation with local police.
The fallen rapper’s funeral service took place on April 11, 2019, and several people attended to pay their respects.
The service was attended by Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, and Jhené Aiko, while Hussle’s partner Lauren London delivered the eulogy.
