Ghanaian broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah has made it clear that she does not care about rumours surrounding her, and she has urged her fans not to defend her when false stories circulate.
In an exclusive interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5FM, Nana Aba shared her thoughts on how she deals with the constant chatter and gossip about her life.
During the interview, Nana Aba explained that she doesn’t let rumours affect her. When asked how she handles such gossip, she said she ignores them.
“I’m too busy to pay attention to such things,” she explained, adding that she is focused on more important aspects of life.
She pointed out that rumours are typically created by people with nothing better to do. “Rumours are started by people who are bored, angry in life, and have absolutely nothing to do,” Nana Aba said. “They fabricate stories just to get attention.”
She also made it clear that she doesn’t respond to any false information circulating about her on social media. “I do not make an effort to respond to rumours,” she said. Most importantly, she revealed that she doesn’t even hear them.
“The people around me know very well that I do not give a toss. So nobody around me will come and say, ‘Nana Aba, they are saying that.’ No one around me does that— not my family, not my friends, not my circle,” she explained.
In the same interview, Nana Aba Anamoah made a heartfelt plea to her fans, asking them not to fight her battles or get involved in defending her when rumours spread. “Please, don’t fight my battles for me. I appreciate the love, but I’d prefer if you just turned a blind eye to such news,” she urged.
