Ghanaian YouTuber Michael Owusu Afriyie, famously known as Teacher Kwadwo, has been off the radar for a concerningly long time.
His last social media post, dated February 14, 2024, featured a Valentine’s Day advertisement for gadgets such as mobile phones and computer accessories.
Since then, Teacher Kwadwo’s YouTube channel, where he was known for his lively reviews and satirical takes on current events, has been unusually quiet.

His sudden absence has sparked concern among his followers, and some of his colleagues have reported that their attempts to reach him via text messages have gone unanswered.
Teacher Kwadwo, who previously worked as a teacher in one of Ghana’s rural areas, has faced several issues with local institutions, leading to speculation that these troubles might be related to his current break from social media.
In a recent update, Hitz FM’s Sergio Manucho, who played a role in Teacher Kwadwo’s rise to fame, provided a sparse update on the YouTuber’s whereabouts.
While he dismissed rumors that Teacher Kwadwo had traveled abroad, he did share that the YouTuber is currently dealing with some personal challenges.

Sergio Manucho urged fans to keep Teacher Kwadwo in their prayers. “Kwadwo is okay, but he’s not entirely okay.
He’s been through a lot and needs to focus on his peace of mind,” Manucho said. “We should pay more attention to him and support him during this time.”
