During a historic visit by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to Cape Coast for the Fetu Festival, an unexpected moment unfolded that has since charmed everyone who’s seen it.
The festival was buzzing with excitement, but nothing quite captured the essence of the day like a young boy’s request.
The boy, known as Chief Justice, captivated the crowd with an energetic traditional dance while waving a red Asafo flag that read “Akwaaba Otumfuo” earning praise from the Asantehene and the audience.

In the video capturing the scene, the boy, who is said to have pleased Otumfuo with his welcome dance, was asked by the king to sit closer to him.
However, as with any lively event, even the most prepared performers sometimes face urgent needs. Our young star found himself needing to use the washroom.
With the kind of confidence only a child could muster, he approached Otumfuo with a unique request: Could the Asantehene hold his flag while he stepped away for a moment?
The Asantehene, displaying both grace and a good sense of humor, graciously accepted the flag. The boy handed it over with a smile and quickly made his way to the restroom, leaving the crowd—and Otumfuo himself—in amused admiration.

The other chiefs present couldn’t help but chuckle at the boy’s boldness, and one even offered to relieve Otumfuo of his flag-holding duties. But with a warm smile, the Asantehene chose to keep it until the boy returned
