Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo just made a major announcement that’s got everyone talking. It turns out that Eats Avenue, the swanky restaurant in East Legon that she’s been flaunting on social media, is no longer under her control.
Just a few months ago, Efia Odo was strutting her stuff and boasting about owning the restaurant. But now, she’s set the record straight with a dramatic twist. Turns out, she only owned about 40% of the place. That’s right—she wasn’t the sole owner like she previously claimed.
To back up her claim, Efia Odo has shared official documents online showing her stake in the business.
This comes amid swirling rumors that she’s been booted from her managerial role. The speculation was kicked into high gear after her rival, Sista Afia, hinted that something was fishy with the restaurant’s ownership.
It’s been reported that Kobby Sarpong, the man behind Ridge Condos in Kumasi, is actually the main owner of Eats Avenue.
And according to the gossip mill, there’s been a falling out between Sarpong and Efia Odo. Sarpong has taken over the restaurant’s operations and even set up new social media accounts for Eats Avenue, telling fans to forget the old accounts run by Efia Odo.
In a sassy social media post, Efia Odo laid it all out, saying, “My 40% ownership of Eats Avenue Restaurant is very factual and backed by law. I don’t necessarily need to be at the helm of affairs as a proud legal owner. If in doubt, kindly refer to Reg. No. CS033890324 & TIN: C0063837021 on the Ghana Register of Companies records. Thank you.”
But she didn’t stop there. She followed up with a cheeky warning: “I’m no longer affiliated with Eats Avenue. Eat at your own risk. Thank you.”
With this bombshell, Efia Odo has made it crystal clear that she’s out of the Eats Avenue picture. So, if you’re thinking of dining there, you might want to check who’s running the show before you go. The drama just keeps heating up!
