Kwame Asare Obeng famed as A Plus, has launched a scathing attack on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, sharply criticizing his recent comments about former President John Dramani Mahama.
In an interview on Hitz FM, A Plus sharply rebuked Akufo-Addo’s comment that Mahama was the only president in Ghana’s 4th Republic to serve a single term of four years.
A Plus argued that Akufo-Addo’s attempt to disparage Mahama’s tenure is actually an endorsement of the former President’s significant achievements.

“Akufo-Addo thinks he’s mocking John Mahama by pointing out that he only served four years. In reality, he’s highlighting Mahama’s accomplishments and giving his campaign a boost,” A Plus asserted.
The Independent parliamentary aspirant for Gomoa Central went on to enumerate several of Mahama’s key achievements during his four-year presidency, contrasting them with what he sees as the lackluster performance of the current administration.
“Despite having just four years in office, John Mahama achieved incredible things. Akufo-Addo’s comments serve as a reminder of Mahama’s impressive record,” A Plus emphasized.
A Plus detailed several key projects completed under Mahama’s leadership. “Mahama built a new port, a new airport, and a new harbour in just four years.
He also established the Ridge Hospital, the Bank of Ghana Hospital, and the Afari Government Hospital,” A Plus pointed out.

“Moreover, he started the Free SHS program progressively and initiated the construction of E-blocks across the country.”
Once a supporter of Akufo-Addo, A Plus expressed his disillusionment with the current administration.
He criticized Akufo-Addo for failing to deliver on key promises, including the fight against illegal mining, known as galamsey.
“I supported Akufo-Addo with high hopes, but now I’m deeply disappointed. He promised to tackle galamsey, but it seems he’s done nothing effective about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is benefiting from it himself,” A Plus added.
