United Showbiz entertainment pundit, MC Yaa Yeboah, has stirred up a significant conversation with her recent comments on polygamy.
Yaa Yeboah passionately defended the right of men to marry multiple wives if they wish and can afford it, while also challenging societal norms and judgments about such relationships.
During a recent discussion on United Showbiz, Yaa Yeboah argued that the criticism directed at men with more than one wife is unjust.

She also defended the role of second wives, insisting that they should not be judged or demeaned.
According to her, the stigma attached to being a second wife is unfounded and often unfairly targets women in these relationships.
“If a man says he wants to marry ten, fifteen, or even twenty wives and can afford it, let them be. I’ve noticed that our society doesn’t have a problem with wealthy men who have more than one wife. But when a woman is a second wife to an average person, she’s made to feel less of herself,” Yaa Yeboah stated.
She also addressed the common notion that a woman can “snatch” someone else’s husband, calling it a baseless accusation. “If a married man doesn’t date the other woman, how will he be able to choose a second wife? That’s why I don’t believe the idea that another woman can snatch someone’s husband. What evidence do you have? What did she use to snatch him?” she questioned.

Yaa Yeboah argued that society should allow anyone who wants to be a second wife to do so, as long as they understand the potential challenges involved.
She also suggested that first wives who are uncomfortable with the idea of their husband taking another wife should have the option to leave the marriage.
“If a woman wants to be a second wife, let her be. And to the first wives, if your husband wants to bring in a second wife and you don’t want it or the stress that comes with it, then leave the marriage. Life can be simple,” she said.
