Actor John Peasah, widely known as Drogba from the hit TV series YOLO, took to the stage at the Christ Embassy’s Airport City crusade in Accra on Friday, August 30, 2024, to share an extraordinary story of recovery.
In a moving testimony, Drogba revealed how he had received divine healing after enduring four years of severe health challenges.
For the past four years, Drogba has been fighting a tough battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare condition that made it nearly impossible for him to be in public or even sit in crowds.

This illness caused severe muscle rigidity and spasms, making it hard for him to move and even walk. He also struggled with chronic vision problems, tremors, and dizziness.
Accompanied by his sister, Drogba spoke candidly about his condition and the impact it had on his life. “For the past four years, he hasn’t been able to go out. Whenever he tried, he had to wear a face mask because seeing a crowd would cause his head to shake and make walking difficult,” his sister recounted. “He would need to be supported, but today, for the first time in four years, he managed to walk through a crowd.”
At the Friday Miracle Night service, Drogba experienced a dramatic turnaround. For the first time in years, he was able to walk freely and interact with the congregation. This unexpected change left him and those present in awe.
“I find it very hard to walk in public, but I feel better today,” Drogba shared. “The amazing thing is that no one else in Ghana has this syndrome. I’ve tried to find others with the same condition but had no success.”

Before this miraculous healing, Drogba had started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $280,000 for international treatment, as his medical expenses had overwhelmed his resources.
His campaign highlighted the financial strain and the desperate need for advanced care.
The healing he experienced at the crusade has not only brought him relief but also sparked hope and inspiration among many.
