Keche Joshua, one-half of Ghanaian music duo Keche, has launched a strong public critique against fellow artist King Paluta, accusing him of failing to support their joint musical effort.
The track “My Father,” featuring King Paluta and released in June 2024, has garnered only about 42,000 views on YouTube, causing frustration for Keche Joshua.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on August 23, 2024, Joshua voiced his discontent, claiming that King Paluta had not promoted the song as expected.

Joshua highlighted that Paluta had been active in promoting his collaborations with other artists, such as Sista Afia, Eno Barony, Tulenkey, and Wendy Shay, yet he neglected to give the same attention to “My Father.”
Joshua expressed his anger by stating, “We did a song with you, and you never posted it. I reached out to your team, and they said they don’t use his official account to post things. They use the King Paluta Army page instead.”
This situation was aggravated by the fact that even after repeated reminders, King Paluta only reluctantly created a promotional video that he neither shared nor retweeted.

Keche Joshua voiced his disappointment over what he perceived as disrespect towards Keche, a well-established music duo.
“You got an artiste like Keche, and you disrespect us? You made it seem like we were disturbing you, so you just did something for us,” he stated.
In closing, Joshua called on the music industry to address the underlying issues of disrespect and lack of professionalism among artists.
